Beauty and the Beast- Enchanted Christmas
To help have an idea on how to give an inanimate object emotion and movement, I looked at Beauty and the Beast. However not the actual film. The section I was looking at the follow up- Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. The section I was looking at doesn't last very long but it's when Belle goes to retrieve her skates. The hat stand helps hre put on her cloak. Starts from 4:02- 4:10.

It's quite an elegant scene in the film. The stand has such a regal manner about it, and the bow at the end just conveys such poise.
