Just a warm up with photoshop. Having used photoshop and a graphics tablet a lot, the experience was nothing new. This doesn't have anything to do with King Solomon's Mines, this picture was just an experiment with different brushes and techniques.
Last weeks photoshop lesson I went back and started to put together a rough outline of the Palace of Death. I'm rather pleased with how the ice effect turned out, though I'm not too sure on the cave's far wall. It looks too dark and I think it could be mistaken for an endless night sky instead of a wall.
